Looking beyond the purchase:
When considering your next equipment purchase, how important to you is the level of after sales support you can expect to receive? At Burtons we believe that this is an extremely important factor to our business that sets us apart from our competitors.
We currently employ a national network of 20 fully trained and equipped service engineers, able to carry out on site maintenance and repair in both the UK and Ireland. We also operate a modern, well equipped in-house facility to carry out repairs where it is not possible to do so on site. All engineers are regularly updated with new product knowledge and have a continously restocked van stock of commonly fitted components to help make your service as quick and efficient as possible.
Why bother with a Service Contract?
Planned preventative maintenance is your best defence against sudden failure of vital, frequently used equipment. Much of the equipment we see in practice today has been recycled and is of an age where failure of components is highly likely unless routine maintenance is carried out. By regularly having your equipment serviced you are extending the life of your equipment and ensuring it is working to its full ability.
Peace of mind:
Equipment such as anaesthetic machines and autoclaves are fundamental to the prosperity of any veterinary practice. A service contract from Burtons provides comprehensive breakdown cover. Our aim is to attend site within 24 hours of a call being raised, reducing costly and disruptive downtime to a minimum. Our engineer book their own work in with you to ensure that they call at the most convienent time. We provide a 3 hour call back promise with every breakdown call recieved where by the engineer will call and book in your breakdown within 3 hours of the office recieving your concerns.
Straight forward pricing:
Our service contracts have set labour charges, parts are charged for as and only when required. There are no upfront payments, you will receive an invoice once the work has been completed. We also offer a reduced rate for multiple items and group practices. Plus if you wish to cancel your contract, there is no tie in, you can cancel it by simply writting to us explaining why. For our large Instaclave 8000 we are able to offer a fully inclusive extended warranty package and, a full price list of all products we can service can be obtained by contacting our office team. In house repair centre:
We not only provide after sales support for all the products in our range, we can also help with repairs to other items too! In the majority of cases there is no charge for an estimate and if you decide not to proceed with the repair we will either return or dispose of the item for you. Please ensure that any item you intend sending has been thoroughly decontaminated first. We reserve the right to return an item to you unrepaired if it is thought to be hazardous to the health of our employees.
Lift table inspections:
We are also able to offer lift table inspections under the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998. (PUWER). We will issue certification under these regulations.
